First Day of Kindergarten

Ok, so I know this is kinda late coming... but most of you should by now I'm not very prompt when it comes to this blogging thing. Anyway, YES, Jack started kindergarten a couple weeks ago and can I tell you how much he LOVES going to school. He's bummed when Saturday comes around, and when I drop him off in the mornings, as soon as the classroom opens, he bolts for the door and doesn't even look back to say bye to his dear old mommy! But it makes me so happy, and I wouldn't want it any other way. He loves his teachers too, Ms. Sack and Ms. Gruber.

All smiles and giggles

I guess 3 months is the magic number! Jonah is so fun to talk to now because he responds to everything you say. Just last week he started doing this really deep giggle. At first I wasn't sure if he was giggling or starting to cry. Jack can really get him going. It's pretty funny to watch.

John and Madeline

Nate's brother John and his girlfriend Madeline came to visit over Labor Day weekend all the way from San Antonio, TX. It was fun to see and hang out with them for a while, and on this day we took them downtown in Petaluma where there's always fun shops and good food.

Jonah's Blessing

We were able to bless Jonah while in Utah a few weeks ago. It was so nice because we were able to have a lot of my family there and almost all of Nate's family there. It was not only so good to see so many friends and family that we just don't get to see as often anymore, but it was also so great to have them be a part of this memorable day for our family.

A few weeks ago, my friend Nicole came to Cali to hang with us for the weekend and we ended up going to Golden Gate Park. Of course she brought her camera too, thankfully, because she has become this awesome photographer, and these are just some of the snaps she took of Jack.

Aubree... my postpardom savior

My oh-so fabulous friend Aubree came to Cali a week after Jonah was born to help me out a bit. It was not only so great to see her and spend time with her and cute Brenner, but she was also an amazing cooking, cleaning, entertaining (a 4 yr old), and just plain fun wonder woman. I really don't know what I would have done with out her. Thanks Aub, I love you!

I turned 5!

Jack was so excited to turn 5 and have a pirate party! We went miniture golfing with Memee and Papa and rode the Little Indy Race Cars too. He had a great day.
